Understanding how to pay for bookings NET

NET rates will be available as the primary method for all registered partners when booking with Plum Guide.

All partners are assigned a promo code to enter at checkout for every booking. Failure to use the promo code, will result in the booking being secured at a GROSS rate, meaning commission will be payable POST checkout.

TO BOOK NET RATES:

1) You will need to be logged into your Plum Guide Partner account

2) Once you are logged in, you can book the home directly via the website

3) If the home is a REQUEST to book home, the host will reply within 72 hours to confirm the booking, if the home is an INSTANT book home, your booking will be confirmed on the spot

4) Select "I have a code" and then select I have a promo code (here you will enter your allocated discount code). Once applied the booking will be discounted by 7.5%

5) There is a section on the booking page that says "Message to your host" - this is where you must tell the host that you are booking on behalf of your client and where you should provide their full names and contact details.

Cancellations

Commission is only paid on bookings that remain confirmed.

In the event that a Partner cancels a booking outside the free cancellation window, Plum Guide reserves the right to charge the card on file in order to recover any owed commission, refund a lesser amount or utilise an alternative payment method at Plum Guide’s discretion.

For Example:

Cancellation policy - SuperFirm60

• Guests receive a 50% refund of the total booking value for cancellations made at least 60 days before the local check-in date and time which is specified in the booking confirmation email.

• No refund for cancellation requested within 60 days of local check-in date and time.

Gross booking total: £100

NET booking total (less 7.5%): £92.50

Booking cancelled less than 60 days before check in meaning no refund is due to the partner or client, and commission of £7.50 MUST be paid back to Plum.

In the event owed commission cannot be reclaimed, Plum Guide reserves the right to suspend an agent account, preventing them from making any further commissionable bookings until outstanding balances are settled.

If a partner cancels a booking within a free cancellation period, they will be refunded what was paid at the time of booking.

Terms & Conditions

  • Partners only receive the discount on confirmed bookings.

  • The code must be entered in the promo code box at checkout to work.

  • In the event that a Partner cancels a booking outside the free cancellation window, we reserve the right to charge the card on file in order to recover the owed commission, refund a lesser amount or utilise an alternative payment method at Plum Guide’s discretion.

  • If a partner cancels a booking within a free cancellation period, they will be refunded what was paid at the time of booking.

  • All bookings MUST be made via a registered Plum Guide Partner account for it to be eligible.

  • The discount code must be used at the time of making the booking. The discount code CANNOT be added retrospectively, failing to do so will mean you must inoice us for commission

  • The discount code is non-transferrable and can only be used on bookings made for/by a Partner or client.

  • Plum Guide is not responsible for claiming the commission percentage from a Partner’s client, if the booking is made with the client's payment card and using the discount code.

  • Plum Guide will not accept Partner invoices for bookings which have used the discount code.

  • All agents are responsible for ensuring they are following their host agency/ consortiums T&Cs - Plum Guide will not be held responsible for any agents breaching their host agency/ consortiums payment processes or guidelines.
