There are a number of preventions you can put in place to protect yourself against damage;

  1. Security deposit: In the 'Your listings' section or your profile, we advice you to set a deposit. This is in place in case any damage beyond reasonable wear and tear has occurred during a guests stay.
  2. Itemise your contents: We strongly encourage that you itemise your contents on a regular basis throughout your property. It may also be beneficial to take a video film of your property prior to a guests arrival. This will provide evidence during any disputes on the status of your contents and property before an issue occurred.
  3. Require ID: Upon arrival you can inform guests that you will ask to see a clear form of identifications (e.g. passport, driving license). Note you must clearly state in your host manual that you will require this on arrival.
