What You Need to Do
Before your listing can remain live on Plum Guide, you must register your property for short-term stays with Miami-Dade County.
This requires you to obtain:
(a) a Florida Vacation Rental Dwelling License You can apply here: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/
(b) a Miami-Dade County Certificate of Use You can apply here: https://www.miamidade.gov/Apps/RER/EPSPortal/PlanReview/CUApplications/Menu
You MUST add your Certificate of Use number to your Plum Guide listing. We'll need this information to ensure your property remains compliant.
If Your Property is in Miami Beach
If your property is located within Miami Beach, you have additional requirements beyond Miami-Dade County:
- Business Tax Receipt (BTR) number
- Tax Certificate number
Both must be obtained prior to your listing going live.
