Collections let you group saved homes into focused shortlists – by destination, trip, or client – and share them directly from your wishlist. This article explains how to get started, how to build and manage your collections, and how to share them with clients.
Why use collections?
Before collections, all your saved homes lived in one wishlist. The more homes you saved, the harder it became to find what you needed – especially when managing multiple clients or destinations at once.
Collections solve this by giving you a dedicated space for each client, trip or destination. You can save broadly, then curate precisely. A collection called "Mallorca summer villas" can sit alongside "Rome – Patrick Smith" and "Paris Eiffel tower views – Alison McCallum", each fully separate and shareable on its own.
Key benefits for partners:
One link per client. Share a focused shortlist bespoke to your client's requirements.
Label by client. Add a client's name to any collection so it's easy to find later.
Present professionally. Each collection is shared on a branded Plum Guide page – no account needed for your client to view it.
Saving homes to your wishlist
Every home you save goes into your wishlist. You can save from search results, the map, or a home's listing page.
To save a home:
Click the heart icon on any home card or listing page.
A prompt will appear asking where to save it – choose an existing collection or create a new one. This step is optional.
If you close the prompt without choosing, the home saves to your default wishlist.
You'll see a confirmation message: "Added to [Collection name]".
To remove a home:
Click the heart icon again.
If removing from a home card or listing page, the heart will turn grey and you'll see a confirmation message.
If removing from your wishlist or a collection page, the home won't disappear immediately – you can undo the action if you change your mind. It will be removed on your next page refresh.
Creating a collection
You can create a collection when saving a home.
Click the heart icon on any home.
In the prompt, select New collection.
Give it a name – for example, "Tuscany villas" or "London August shortlist".
Optionally, add your client's name in the client field (partners only).
Click Done, the home is saved to your new collection.
Managing your collections
Renaming a collection
Open the collection, select the more options menu in the top right (⋯), and choose Edit details. Changes apply after you click Save.
Adding or editing a client name
If you didn't add a client name when creating a collection, you can add one at any time. Open the collection, select the more options menu (⋯), and choose Edit details. The client name is visible only to you – it won't appear when you share the collection.
Duplicating a collection
Open the collection, select the more options menu in the top right (⋯), and choose Duplicate. You'll be prompted to name the duplicated collection. Once saved, you'll be taken straight to it.
Deleting a collection
Open the collection, select the more options menu in the top right (⋯), and choose Delete. You'll be asked to confirm. Deleting a collection does not delete the homes themselves – they remain saved in All homes saved.
Sharing a collection with a client
Each collection has its own share link, independent of your full wishlist. Your client sees the selected homes, Plum Guide branding, and nightly rates. Your partner code is embedded in the link, so any direct bookings are automatically credited to you.
To share:
Open the collection you want to share.
Select Share collection – your partner code is included in the link automatically – if your client books directly, it will be credited to you.
Copy the link, or send via email, WhatsApp, or message.
Note: Shared collections are view-only. Clients can browse the homes but cannot edit the collection or see your other wishlists.
Frequently asked questions
Can I save the same home to more than one collection? Yes. A home can appear in multiple collections at the same time.
Can I share my entire wishlist, not just a collection? Sharing is scoped to individual collections. This is intentional – it keeps what you share focused and relevant to each client.
Will my client need a Plum Guide account to view the collection? No. Shared collection links are accessible without an account.
What happens if a home becomes unavailable after I've shared it? Unavailable homes are clearly marked within the collection so your client can see the status at a glance.
Is the client name I add visible to my client? No. The client name field is for your own reference only and is never shown in the shared view.
