Syncing your calendar with other platforms
This is one of the most important steps as a Plum Guide host. To keep calendars up to date, we require hosts to sync their calendars across all platforms. You only have to do it once, and it requires just a bit of effort, but we promise it’s worth it.
We created guides for you to follow to do two things for each platform your home is advertised on: import and export the calendar links.
Updating your calendar
You can block dates (single dates or periods of time), so they will show as unavailable, and potential guests won’t be able to book. You can also change the price per night for specific dates.
Click a date on the calendar this will open a box on the right
You can:
• Choose whether you want the date to be blocked or available
• Change the nightly rate for that specific dateOnce you have made the changes > Click Save (or your changes won’t show)
Are you experiencing issues with your calendar?
If you are experiencing issues uploading your calendars from other platforms, here are a few steps to follow:
Check your calendar page on your host dashboard. If your exported calendar link has blocked dates, these should come up on your calendar page as blocked with the name of your exported calendar link.
Refresh your calendar page
Try re-exporting the link from the original platform
Make sure the calendar is in the correct format: the link ends with .ics
If you’re still experiencing issues, please contact us using our host form.
