iCal is short for iCalendar; it is a simple web address of your calendar. It allows you to share your availability between different booking platforms all at once, saving you a lot of manual work.

When a home is onboarded, on Plum Guide, and is on another booking platform, we require the host to provide at least one iCal. Listings that are not synchronised via iCal are more likely to receive double bookings so are therefore ranked lower in the pop index.

To import an external ical into your Plum Guide dashboard, you simply log in to your host dashboard, click on the Calendar tab, scroll to below the calendar, click Import Calendar, and upload the iCal in the calendar page of your dashboard.
