Booking with Plum Guide is simple and straightforward—from finding the perfect home to completing the payment. Follow the steps below, whether you're booking on behalf of your client or they’re booking directly, and find out what to expect from a host offering "Instant book" vs "Request to book".
If you’re booking on behalf of your client:
Log in to your Plum Guide Partner account
Select the desired dates for the stay
At checkout, enter your client's details, including full name, email address, and phone number. Used solely for booking purposes, your client's details will never be used for marketing.
Payment method:
Pay GROSS
Pay the full booking amount upfront and send us an invoice after the stay to claim your commission.Pay NET using Net Payment
Your commission is automatically deducted from the total booking amount—no need to invoice us later.
Email confirmation:
If you're paying GROSS, you can choose to send a copy of the confirmation email to your client.
If you're paying NET, to keep your commission rate private, no confirmation email will be sent to your client.
Make payment securely:
For Request to Book homes: The host will respond within 72 hours. An authorisation hold will be placed on the payment method in the meantime.
For Instant Book homes: The booking is confirmed immediately once payment is completed.
If your client is booking using their own Plum Guide account:
To ensure your commission is applied:
Provide your client with your Partner Code
During checkout, they must click “I have a code” and enter it under “I have a partner code.”
