Booking with Plum Guide is simple—from finding the perfect home to completing the payment. Follow the steps below, whether you're booking on behalf of a client or they're booking directly, and find out what to expect from a host offering "Instant book" vs "Request to book".
If you’re booking on behalf of a client
Log in to your Plum Guide Partner account.
Select the dates for the chosen home.
At checkout, enter your client's details, including full name, email address, and phone number. Used solely for booking purposes, your client's details will never be used for marketing.
Choose your commission payment method
Option 1 – Pay GROSS
Pay the full booking amount upfront.
After the stay, send us an invoice to claim your commission.
Option 2 – Pay NET using Net Payment
Your commission is automatically deducted from the total.
No need to invoice us later.
Booking confirmation email options
If you're paying GROSS, you can select the option to send a copy of the confirmation email to your client.
If you're paying NET, to keep your commission rate private, no confirmation email will be sent to your client.
Make payment securely
For Request to book homes, the host will respond within 72 hours. An authorisation hold will be placed on the payment method, released instantly if the request is declined.
For Instant book homes, the booking is confirmed immediately once payment is completed.
If your client is booking themselves
You have two options:
Option 1: Share a referral link (recommended)
Log in to your Plum Guide Partner account.
Go to the listing page for your client’s chosen home.
Click the share button and copy the referral link. This link includes your partner code directly in the URL.
Share this referral link with your client.
When your client books through that link, your partner code is automatically applied at checkout.
Your client will never see your commission detail or access travel agent functionalities when you share a link.
Option 2: Provide your Partner Code
You can also give your client your Partner Code. During checkout, they must:
Click “I have a code”
Enter your Partner Code under “I have a partner code”
Alternative Payment Option
Although it's not available directly at checkout, we accept payment by bank transfer. If you'd like to use this method, please contact our Matchmaking team, who will be able to organise it for you.
